Wing termites and winged ants are often mistaken for each other, but there are several key differences that can be used to identify them. One of the most obvious differences is the shape of their wings. Termites have wings that are the same size and shape, while ants have wings of different sizes. The termite’s body is also thicker and more uniform in shape compared to the ant’s body, which is more segmented. Additionally, termites have straight antennae, while ants have elbowed antennae. Another way to tell them apart is by looking at their wings. Termites have two pairs of wings that are equal in size, while ants have two pairs of wings, with the front pair being larger than the hind pair.
